According to the CDC “health equity is the state in which everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health.” We know that due to social, racial, gender, economic, and other disparities, that not everyone has equal access to care and opportunities. The LGBTQIA+ community has historically been impacted by these disparities in unhealthy ways. Join us for a webinar as we explore accessibility to and inclusivity of the queer community within the health equity conversation, and how domestic violence preventionists can incorporate this perspective in their work.
