Stephanie Ward is a Project Specialist with Interface Children and Family Services as part of the Family Violence Initiative Program and Health Cares Program. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University of San Bernardino. In addition to her role with Interface, she provides support to families with her monthly parent meet-up, workshops and parenting series to help prevent child abuse and domestic violence. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families who experienced or currently in a domestic violence situation and parenting challenges with educating the community. She comes with a background working with the County of San Bernardino as an Eligibility and Cal-Learn worker offering CalWORKS, CalFresh and Medi-Cal working with teens in obtaining their GED/High school diploma as well as working with non-profits agencies offering home visitation services in San Fernando Valley, working with adults with special needs, and subsidized childcare. Her goal is to work in changing policy to better support our homeless community, victims and survivors of domestic violence, prevent child abuse and addressing the criminal legal system.
