Profile

Gina Roberson is WEAVE’s Chief Program Officer overseeing Advocacy and Intervention Services including Residential Services (Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing), and Crisis Response Services (24/7 Support Line and Sexual Assault Response, Violence Response Teams working with Law Enforcement, and the Anti-Trafficking Response Team). Gina has more than 25 years in the Violence Prevention field including developing and administering Domestic Violence and Child Abuse programs with the California Governor’s Office of Criminal Justice Planning (now CalOES). Prior to joining WEAVE she served as the Associate Executive Director of the Health Education Council and as the Associate Director of the Child Abuse Prevention Center. Gina holds a Masters in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Law & Society from UC Santa Barbara.

Gina is dedicated to working with families and communities to create safe, nurturing, healthy environments where we all thrive. As a member of Sacramento County’s Steering Committee to Reduce African American Child Deaths, she was involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the nationally recognized Black Child Legacy Campaign. While living and raising her family in Placer County, she serves as a First 5 Placer Commissioner, a member of the Local Control Accountability Plan Advisory Committee for the Rocklin Unified School District, and volunteers for several local non-profits.
