Dachelle is a dedicated leader with over 8 years of experience in gender based violence services and its intersections. She currently serves as the Director of Survivor Empowerment Services at YWCA Greater Los Angeles, where she oversees the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Services programs. In this role, she leads a multidisciplinary team that provides clinical services, case management, advocacy, and immediate SART response to survivors. She works to strengthen community partnerships, ensure trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices, and advance systems that promote healing and empowerment.

Her passion lies in supporting survivors with a deep respect for the complex intersections that shape their experiences. She is a strong advocate for holistic healing and sustainability as pathways to breaking cycles of abuse and injustice. Her educational background includes degrees in Psychology and Human Services with an emphasis on Mental Health Recovery, and she holds a CADC III certification. She is also currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. As a thriving survivor herself, Dachelle brings both lived experience and professional expertise, grounding her leadership in authenticity, resilience, and a commitment to transformative change.
