Alejandrina Carrasco MA, serves as the Prevention
Services Program Manager for Interface Children & Family Services
in Ventura County. She oversees comprehensive family violence
programming that prevents, interrupts and ends the cycle of
violence within family systems. She empowers advocates working in
the field of domestic violence, child abuse, and human
trafficking to be their authentic selves and provide support for
victims and survivors of trauma. Alejandrina began her work with
survivors of domestic violence as a shelter case manager in 2011
and has since worked as an advocate, batterer’s intervention
group facilitator, prevention educator, trainer and program
manager. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and
Psychology from Cal State Channel Islands and her master’s degree
in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family
Therapy from Antioch University. She is passionate and driven to
prevent and end child abuse, domestic violence, and human
trafficking in her community through awareness, collaboration and
connection.
