Prevention

Against a blue background there is a silhouette of a person's face, made from the silhouettes of people from various background and gender expressions. To the right of the silhouette is the verbiage Peer Learning Circles. Underneath it reads, "Open to all who practice prevention". There is a black strip below with #PreventionWorks. At the bottom are the logos for the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence and ValorUS.

This space is for prevention practitioners and domestic violence advocates alike. Together we will discuss economic inequity as a root cause of domestic violence, and explore the ways in which paid family leave and other safety nets can be used as a prevention tool. We’ll explore what paid family leave looks like in California and provide opportunities to get involved with advocacy efforts to strengthen economic supports for individuals and families.
