Emergency COVID-19 Victim Services Funding Applications Now Closed

Post

On May 6th, the Partnership began accepting applications for organizations providing direct services to domestic violence and human trafficking survivors in California. As of Tuesday, May 12th, the Partnership had received funding requests in excess of $5 million. This far exceeds the $3 million fund provided by Cal OES. Given the pace of applications and the amounts requested, as well as our commitment to accept and review on a rolling first come basis, it was clear we could not accommodate any further requests, and we stopped accepting applications as of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. Applications received prior to Tuesday at 5 p.m. will be notified of their funding status on Monday, May 18th.

We acknowledge that this has been a very fast-moving process for everyone involved. In the funding webinars and outreach conducted over the last week, we consistently conveyed that applications would be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until the funds were committed.

We understand this will be disappointing to many, and we fully recognize that the need for emergency resources is far greater than the funds available.
