We invite each Partnership Member to help shape the future of California’s movement to end domestic violence. This two-day combined event presents an opportunity to connect, share expertise, and elevate the voices of rising leaders in the movement. During Policy Advocacy Day, our voices will be heard virtually at the Capitol! Don’t miss the opportunity to share your voice and advocate for our member-identified policy priorities. Our agenda is currently being developed, and we look forward to sharing it with you soon.
Our Annual Membership Meeting will be an opportunity to hear updates from the Partnership staff and Board on the work the Partnership has been doing, as well as our vision for the year ahead. Policy Advocacy Day will see members meeting virtually with Legislators from across the state to discuss and advocate for our member-informed Partnership policy priorities. Members will be put in teams and the Partnership will schedule all meetings.
Who Should Attend:
We encourage individuals and a wide range of staff from member agencies including those who are providing direct service and those who are in leadership. Specific to Policy Advocacy Day, we encourage you to prioritize registering survivors, youth, and staff who work in prevention and with direct experience on our priority policy areas.
Schedule:
Events will run from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., with Policy Advocacy Day programming beginning on the afternoon of May 4th. If you are registering for Policy Advocacy Day, please plan on joining us on the afternoon of May 4th to prepare for your meetings. Detailed schedules will be available soon. We encourage you to save the full days, but we will have lots of breaks to avoid Zoom fatigue.
