Northern California Tribal Court Coalition (NCTCC) Mobile Application
Price: Free for members and their staff; $35/Non-members
NCTCC in partnership with National Indian Justice Center and Shufflelabs has developed a mobile application for victim service providers and Tribal victims of crime to aid with navigating the specialized areas of: Tribal resources & safety methods, Tribal jurisdiction, victim’s rights, Self Care resources, and an explanation of the criminal justice system. The NCTCC Mobile Application benefits victim service providers by placing resources and tools directly in their handheld device regardless of internet access. The webinar “ NCTCC Mobile Application; Native American Inclusivity in Victim Services,” will provide a lecture on the history of Victim Services in Indian Country highlighting the fiduciary responsibilities of the United States federal government and the Indigenous trauma response resulting from these services. We will then walk through the mobile application with a deeper understanding of why this resource is especially important for Tribal communities and those who serve them.
