“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change the world”—Margaret Mead
The challenges that patriarchy and neoliberalism present to collective visionary organizing and functioning are not small. Our ongoing journey to liberation starts with the commitment to examine and identify the spaces—within and outside—that have been colonized.
It is in relationship that that we identify and dismantle internal spaces to free us up. This is the start of being in community, which is an opportunity for healing and growing. We can then imagine a world where acceptance and equity are the norm, and create what we envision together: pushing against boundaries that separate us; confronting the realities of social locations and the powerlessness derived of it.
We will continue learning together and taking action to dismantle the traces of white supremacy within us in the safe, cherished space we have created to affirm one another, to lift our lives and to celebrate who we are!
Join us the first Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. to “mobilize toward a liberatory vision” that creates the conditions we long for.
Healing and transformation happen in relationship! Register one time to attend monthly “Courageous Conversations”.
