In 2018, the Partnership and CALCASA are multiplying our power for Policy Advocacy Day! During the final budget negotiations happening in May, your voice is vital. Join us in Sacramento on May 14th and 15th, and urge legislators to support $50 million in funding to end sexual and domestic violence. California’s policymakers must know about the importance of prevention in our communities, wrap-around services for holistic survivor support, and research on meaningful, effective accountability.

Policy Advocacy Day presents an opportunity to elevate the voices of rising leaders in the movement—especially survivors, who should be included in organizations’ teams of attendees. Partnership Members are also encouraged to bring colleagues who work with survivors of sexual violence.
