The New DV Laws Training will be Thursday, January 12th, from 10 AM to noon and will be presented by Emberly Cross, the Coordinating Attorney at the Cooperative Restraining Order Clinic, Erin Scott, the Executive Director of the Family Violence Law Center and Eve Sheedy, Deputy City Attorney, Counsel for Domestic Violence Policy at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

This training is designed for attorneys and non-attorney advocates who work with domestic violence victims and want to know how legislation signed into law in 2016 and effective in 2017 will affect their work. The training will give you tools to help your clients ensure that they benefit from laws passed to provide them more support and protection.
