Announcing Shifting the Lens 2019 — California’s Statewide Domestic Violence Conference. Registration now open! On March 11-12, Keynote Tony Porter (CEO of A CALL TO MEN) will interview Ray Rice as part of a broader conversation on survivor-centered accountability, healthy masculinity, and how we affect lasting change.

With the support of survivors, advocates and community organizers — Black women — we’ll explore issues of safety, racial justice, accountability, and healing. We invite all Conference attendees to enter this complicated, and perhaps uncomfortable, conversation — knowing that it’s essential to meet the needs of survivors who want to keep their families together. How can we honor their expressed needs for accountability and help for their entire family? What would it look like for people who commit harm to be accountable to survivors and to the community around them? Together we’ll dive deep into these questions.
